We just got back from Haydens graduation celebration.

What a wonderful night. Not boring at all. The teacher's put up a 20 minute montage of what the kids have been doing all year set to pop songs and with funny captions on the pics. Had us in stitches and they gave a dvd copy to all the kids. They were presented individually with certificates while each of their pics was beamed on the wall 6feet high while their teacher recounted their favourite memory of primary school and what they wanted to become as an adult. Lovely overview of them.

The primary school Drumline played.... they always astound me with their talent!

Then all the Grade 7's sang Miley Cyrus "The Climb"

Had us in tears.. and grinning like loons...as you do.

Events like this are always so emotional to us. She started off her school life not being able to put two sounds together let alone speak a word.... and here she is on stage singing a whole song !! Oh I am in tears again.

Not just me... a lady came up in tears and gave Hayden the biggest hug... turned out it was her Grade One teacher... she said to me... Remember when she was in my class? Hayden .. you couldn't talk and here you are SINGING!

I am a proud Mum.

That's so tempted me to buy online. Gorgeous pieces. The Russian ones have a steam punk feel to them.

Dug... I love Skagen watches. An elegant sophisticated timepiece. Seriously slim. That's what I love about it. You are going to love wearing it. (Gods.. I am in spruiker mode) Have to admit I love promoting them. I bought a skagen-like one last year. Love the mesh band too. Just realised I haven't worn it for ages. Can't think where it is either. Hmmm. Blast. I never misplace my watches.

I'm really happy with it Del, what was a nuisance when I worked in the office if my watch used to catch on my shirt sleeve if it was a long sleeved one, I don't often wear LS any more.

Only thing about mesh bands is that some guys find they catch the hairs on their arms. No?

Yes. And since my arms are excessively hairy, I can never wear any watch with a metal or linked band--only leather, cloth or rubber. Which essentially limits me to only 10% of the all the quality watches available.

The mesh is pretty tightly woven I can't see through it don't think it will catch mine, but I'm not that hairy.
