Because its the humbug thread.... and they look in here and think "Ohhhhh... I'd love a humbug!" and they go and eat one and then they have sticky fingers and by the time they get back from washing their hands they have lost their train of thought......

It's a bit like all those Republicans who thought it was clever to get anti-Obama stickers for their cars that, from a distance, looked like Obama supporter stickers. To the casual observer who wasn't standing about two feet from their stationary car, they seemed to be supporting Obama. That sort of ruins what they probably thought was a very clever put down of the President. Indeed, people seeing all these signs from a distance and in Republican areas, might just have gained Obama a few extra votes. That says a lot about Republicans.
