thank you my seller friend tell me I have amazing luck but I think he's getting a tad pissed off with me
for going into his patch and finding stuff he's missed so I can't ask him for valuations on my books even though he doesn't do it for free

I try and get into Second Hand shops on my travels whenever i can, but i only look for Terry Pratchett Paperbacks because i've started to collect them,I think i've got about 20 at the moment, I've got a couple of Hardbacks in my collection but i am enjoying collecting them i read them as i get them for now but once i collect a series i'll read them again in order, that way i can read all the bits that i missed the first time... 8-)

It's a good story too! :)
Look, you've got it all wrong! You don't NEED to follow ME, You don't NEED to follow ANYBODY! You've got to think for your selves! You're ALL individuals!
Yes! We're all individuals!

It seems to have dried up in my area for second hand Terry Pratchett books, it seems everyone is asking for them, but i'll keep looking, I found some in ASDA recently for £3 ish which was good, i even bought one that i've read already although it was from a Libriary so didn't own it, i do now though, I'm off down south soon so will look there. :D

I kind of miss those days when I was a new reader of his books
and was still actively looking for books that I haven't read yet

I tend to buy any that i find in Second Hand book shops even if i've already got them, I can swop any spare ones that i've got with anyone who has any that i haven't got, If that makes sense I've only got 2 swops so far "Wyrd Sisters" and "Going Postal" :D

I've done that, but lately I've run out of people to lend them to, so now I usually leave them so someone else can get a good buy. Sometimes I still get them if it's a rescue situation, as in I suspect they'll be dumped if not bought soon.
I just bought an odd one (for $1.06): a mass-market-paperback-sized hardback of the US HarperCollins edition of Men at Arms, with the HarperCollins cover so it's not a rebinding, marked as the 12th printing so they shouldn't be rare, yet I've never seen one before.

My local secondhand book shop has recently gained over 50 Pratchett books in stock for about £2.50 each as paperback or £6 as hardback, as I have them I'm leaving them there, somebody is going to have a great time in there at some point
One of those? Oh I'm sure I have one somewhere..
