If you think it's perspective,think again,he's actually a bit farther away than the man sitting on the bench.
If you,in your mind's eye,move him level with the man(feet first,rest following that),you'd get a better image of it's true bigness.
Here he is again,with Ricky on the right,who is normally quite used to being the biggest one around,not that day though.

His owner thought he might very well be of recordproportions,but she wasn't that bothered about it,which instantly endeared her to me.

he is a big lad, and obviously likes his food as well mine is a fussy bugger who eats 7 chickens a week plus custard creams

Eagan is a real sweetheart,for some reason other dogs and people can get a bit intimidated at first encounters...
He loves the water,here he is pretending to be a submarine.

And together with Fred,two ends of the sizescale there.

true story my dog Ben rolled in something nasty while I was walking him so because he's a biggish dog I couldn't lift him into the bath to wash him so I got a handful of biscuits and threw them into bath and the dozy sod jumped in after them he just sat there in the bath with such a look on his face kind of a cross between pissed off and despair took him weeks before he could trust me again

i just hose troy off, there is no way he is going in our bath, he might scratch it
