Very sad news about a TV and science icon.

Sir Patrick Moore, astronomer and broadcaster, dies aged 89


I was watching Sky at Night the other day and thought how frail he was looking. And I saw him briefly in the background of that Voyager documentary they did on the BBC the other day.

I think they have been slowly getting together a regular team on TSAN for when this happened, so at least his memory will live on.

RIP Sir Patrick. You inspired generations to look beyond Earth and into the Heavens.

Exact same here,but still this is quite sudden,this is actually where i learned this first.

Never seen this "sky at night" everyone is talking about but I think it's a shame that someone who is rememberd so much is dead, guy must have been a decent bloke.
