Yes, I was aware of the Halifax explosion. Didn't realise it was 95 years ago though.

Wow. That's new to me.

I found this a little disturbing (from Wiki, so you can never be sure):

The final body from the explosion was found here in Halifax's Exhibition Building, in 1919.

I had heard about the Halifax Explosion pre internet.... because of the fact that it was the measurement for sizes of devastation... but holy mackeral.

To see the pictures!!!!!

Thanks con.... have spent a whole evening reading different things about it.
