Actually, while we're on the subject of twisted things at Christmas, I remember watching years ago, on Michael Moore's The Awful Truth
, a thing he did with sufferers of throat cancer. They needed electrolarynxes to speak, and unfortunately, it makes them sound like a 1960s Cyberman (poor buggers
). I think Michael Moore had them sing in a perverse choir to a tobacco company or something. I know they definitely sang Deck the Halls
