Reminds me of a gorgeous Japanese movie about two drifters who suss out people who are on holiday and stay in their houses... while they are there they clean the houses from top to toe and do any minor renovations or repairs that need doing.

Sorry, but the mom should got to jail, too, if only for negligence. How could she have not noticed all the bruises and lacerations on this baby? I wouldn't be surprised if she was the source for at least some of this poor's child's trauma.

There is no requirement for forensic evidence, as it doesn't always exist. If it was always necessary to provide some to prove guilt, and always relied on 100%, why bother with a jury? Our justice system is based on "beyond reasonable doubt", which is the way it should stay, otherwise pigs like this would walk free most of the time.

For some strange reason, women sometimes stay with men who are absolute animals. Usually, they lose their children to social services because of it, a step which unfortunately came too late this time
