We're used to it round here Dug, there isn't a 90 degree angle in my home, one doorway is 3 inches shorter on one side than the other and everything is propped up on at least one corner to try to get a flat surface. Everything round here is slowly slipping into the river it's just that sometimes it moves at speed.
We had SNOW Sunday morning! OK, it didn't last long, and it wasn't much, but it was actual snow, and the grass and the roofs were white for an hour or so I finally feel it's Winter! It's snow-cold (so it's cold enough for the snow to fall but it doesn't ) and the air smells different too, and I just love it, only shame about that awful wind... brr...
Million to one chances crop up nine times out of ten...
Don't you believe them Jenn . They keep saying it was 39c here too.. but it was 41 on the back deck in the shade BEFORE it got hot here today. WHERE the hell are they taking their readings? In the air conditioned lunch room in the BoM ????
It's after 8pm and it's still bloody hot. Just checked... its 33c on the back deck. Much hotter inside. I am so tired. I could better handle this heat if I knew it was going to be cooler at night.
Did you get the wind? It was like being in a fan forced oven. Ugh.
Oh well... we will be thinking 33 is cool tomorrow.
Just keep swimming... just keep swimming.. just keep swimming....
I swear if I could beam over for just a few hours then YES. You have heating right? Or forget that. Right now throwing myself down naked into a snow bank sounds amazing.
If the girls didn't have school tomorrow and if me and Morgan weren't sick I swear I would have driven down to the beach for a nighttime paddle. Its too hot to go in the day.
Just keep swimming... just keep swimming.. just keep swimming....
