The problem with Pushing Daisies was that it wasn't getting good ratings, and then the Writers' Strike came along and that just about finished it off.

The Writers' Strike finished of quite a few shows. Not that I didn't agree with the writers - they were really getting shafted by the networks. Only getting something like 5p for every DVD sale. And considering the writers did all the hard work, I supported their strike. It was just a pity that it killed off some great shows like PD.
Some are born great, some achieve greatness and some have greatness thrust upon them.

The rest of us are a bit crap.

Yes, I heard about that... still a pity though...

Which reminds me: I got dragged to Breaking Dawn part 2, and guess who plays a handsome vanpire? ;)

being a bit cagey in the interview about the three films they have planned, good interview tho, its as if he was getting annoyed with them repeating the same storylines as well

It pains me to say that it wasn't so bad... much-much better than Breakin Dawn part 1, that was pretty awful :roll: You finally get to see some real vampires (and Lee Pace, which is a big improvement ;) ) and there's a big twist at the end, but that's all I'll say... ;)

I just watched the last two episodes of Merlin. One on i player, the other on tv.
So they are preparing us for the death of Kilgharrah I saw & Aithusa made a appearence in the episode before as well.
I guess with the series ending they have to resolve things.
I wonder if it'll be a battle between the two dragons at the end.
Artur hopefully will recognise magic is good as well.

A lot of me would have preferred the happily ever after scenario, but I do like this better in a way.

I took the truck at the end as being intended to show that many hundreds of years have passed and Merlin is still alive and loyally waiting to be of assistance to his King when he comes back to life at Albian's 'time of greatest need'. But that time still hasn't arrived... :(

I thought there were some really nice scenes between Arthur and Merlin. I liked that Arthur thought it was really important to express his appreciation of Merlin before the end.

Funny to think that when Arthur and Merlin next see each other, Merlin will look like that without needing magical assistance. :D

And at least Arthur did find out about Merlin before the end, and didn't have a chance to have him summarily executed before he'd come to terms with it. :lol:

Well, I thought the ending was naff. No tying up about Aithusa, was just hinted at that Kilgharrah would die & that stupid bit at the end where the truck passes Merlin. Some good scenes between Arthur & Merlin near the end, but apart from that I was very disappointed Arthur died. :shock: :roll: :o
