Totes want an explanation for that!!!!!

It reminds me of one of my oldest daughters favourite books... Theres A Hippopotamus On My Roof Eating Cake. I used to have her running from one side of the house to the other looking for him!

I nearly bought that book for my 4yr old son a few days ago - is it worthwhile then? lol

Its brilliant if you happen to have a child with a vivid imagination AND a possum that regularly runs across your roof for the added sound effects...

If you are ever wondering... just take him along to the library... you will get a feel for what he loves with the books there.

There was that one year she hunkered down in my bed... wide awake with anticipation awaiting the arrival of the Easter Bunny... when a huge cane toad decided to hop from one end of our roof to the other for an hour or so.... she almost passed out with the realisation "OMG! The Easter Bunny is ON OUR ROOF!!!!!"

We were staying in a thatched hut affair in the Zambezi valley and there were marula fruits growing above us. Elephants have such a poor digestive system when they eat anything too juicy it ferments up a treat and their trunk-eye co-ordination goes west. So this one elly's trunk kept flopping onto our roof and got a bit confused with what was thatch and what was food for a while :P

It was a safari camp and the hut was built under trees and about bijou garden shed size so only about 10 foot high (3 metres or so) if that - enough to stand up straight and have a small shower room and bed fit inside it. :P

Elephants tend to be a bit taller than that, especially with added trunk reach?

Grrr.

Just seen on National Rail website that the route that I use to get home is delayed by emergency engineering works at Victoria, and a broken down train at Clapham Junction....... BY SIXTY MINUTES.
