Taken with my phone Mad, as I did not have my camera with me I was trying to travel light.

And as they say Tempus fugit and all that when you're enjoying yourself.

You should submit it to one of your comps, Penners.

Totally agree! It's absolutely beautiful!

I like that lifeboat house shot Penfold :D :D

I spent yesterday evening filling the house with the smell of wood smoke and came up with this cheese board. The wood grain on the board isn't the best, but I've managed to hide the worst bits with the burning.

Just discovered my new phone has HDR . Yay. Can't believe the quality of this camera. Dug has it too. Haven't had any opportunity to play yet between work and Morgan and me being ill .

But today a lovely magpie sat on my back rail and I told M to grab the phone. I meant to take a pic but she recorded a vid . I thought he might spook and fly away. But he fluffed his chest and gave her five full minutes of every note he had. Gathered a few mates too... bit late for breeding though. Thinking it was his family. Mind you when I played the avid back and he heard "the other bird " they all took off.

Chilli . That's the best one you have shown us so far. Don't worry about covering mistakes. Even professional artists do it. Burning is a bit like glass etching . One slip and it's ruined. Good on you for saving it. Looks brilliant to me.

Excellent work Chilli.

Tony, talking of cheese. I've got several people addicted to Black Bomber cheddar, which I believe originates in Wales.

I get it in Dorset, and bring it to London, where I give some to my friend Pat, and some to Mary.

Mary tells me that her husband's cousin is going to the Seychelles (her husband is from there) and could he take one of the Black Bombers that I'd given her, as they can't get "proper" cheese over there.

That's going to be a very well travelled cheese!

I'm not smuggling cheese, and I have no idea what you are talking about.
