I think I've recovered from Hogswatch.

Managed to break myself on Saturday night in The Dolphin with copious amounts of ale and vodka and 2 vicious cocktail shots (Squashed Frogs and the aptly named Brain Hemorrhage which broke Pete the landlord in seconds).

Felt pretty bad all of Sunday and yesterday, I think its a sign that I should slow down (1 less pint per night)

Mad: I have no idea who you are talking about but if her leaving makes you both sad, then her getting a placement and becoming your lodger sounds like a brilliant idea. Its always nice to have someone around the house too. Good luck with that.

The teen (M) has come down with a virus. Making her feel ill and her eyes are both red and streaming. She has drops to ease the eye infections and tablets for the rest of the body. She is feeling miserable (so we all have to feel miserable). I am constantly saying "WASH YOUR HANDS" 24/7 to anyone who will listen. She "forgot" to renew her health card so the meds cost me an absolute fortune!!! So now we have two germies in the house. Hoping H doesnt get any of it as she is in the last few weeks of school and SO excited about her Grade 7 graduation coming up.

Del, just lock the kids in their own rooms for a few days so they can't pass their germs to each other and hope for the best (spot the non-parent)

As for Kadri she is a young Estonian woman who ended up with me last year after she arrived in the UK to go to university for her masters qualification and the accomodation she thought she had arranged turned out to not exist. A few phone calls later and she turned up at my door and stayed for 5 weeks until we managed to find her somewhere to live closer to the university. She comes back every now and then, this last weekend was her 23rd birthday, and it's really fun having her around.
