The airforce here in SE Queensland welcomed new aircraft this week with four of the Air Force's new C-17A Globemasters flying low (along the river and below the height of the skyscrapers) over the city up the coast then down over the Gold Coast beaches and back to base. (Yay I didnt get to see it as I was driving to work when it happened RIGHT along the river WHERE it was happening but yanno... they like you to watch the other cars in city traffic!!!!) Its like "OMG! There is a meteor the size of the moon flying past the earth right now!!! YOU! TURN AROUND! You aren't allowed to watch! "

Anyway..... THIS image was captured during the flypast.... apparently the window washers weren;t aware there WAS going to be a flypast....
