True, they have a bunch of daft names, but they also have a bunch of awards from CAMRA, including supreme champion for their Altons pride. I suppose in these days of cheap supermarket alcohol, independent breweries have to use every trick going to interest the punters.

Ohhhhhh Jan! Never knew you cared sweetie!

Theres bits of me that havent been hugged in a while if I do say so myself!

I had a beer this week! I honestly cant remember the last time I had anything to drink... but I was dropping the adult daughter off to on a hot date (ahhhh youth is so wasted on the young!) and we dropped into the bottle-o to get beer and I grabbed one myself. Yes ONE! I was phissed in ten minutes flat   Absolute raving loon....(NO! Dont do it... not ONE comment any of you!) I had to go have a quiet lie down... who turned my bed into a merry-go-round??? Well it WAS a large one.. 650ml... bottle said it was worth 2.7 standard drinks. SLEEPING GIANT IPA India Pale Ale.... Had an elephant on the label and all :D Tasted reaaaaaaaaaaaly nice.

Should be in bed. Sick. Touch of pneumonia. On tablets. Bugger. Was up at 6pm this morning vacuuming and swabbing the bilges out for two house showings this morning... on edge willing them to get the hell out of the house because I was cutting it so fine to get in the car and drive across the city for work.

Glad to see I'm not the only cheap drunk here Del! I prefer cider to beer (unless it's German of course Cheery_j ;) ) but either way after two glasses I'm snoring. Oh - and get better soon!

There is actually a drink called "I'll Have What The Gentleman On The Floor Is Having Barley Wine"...

... but nothing beats "moose drool" ale.

They've just this week started to tolerate each other a bit more so I'll see what I can do for an Xmas photee ;)

Never trust a drink with an elephant on it! Especially if it's called Amarula (like Baileys but with Amarula fruit liqueur in it) which looks lovely and tastes it - but beware the kick! Ever seen a drunk Ellie? :o I've heard one and that was bad enough - farting like a trooper too :shifty:
