Congrats to Ava and Hayden! WTG, girls!!!

Also, I'm so happy for Truly. How wonderful to find something so special again.

What cheered me up was having my family around me on Sunday. As it was my birthday Mr Selkie and our children had all shuffled their timetables to make sure they had the day off (weekends? what are they?) and both my siblings were with us too. It's so rare we all get time to spend together - the best present :)

Have a wonderful Thanksgiving, Suzanne! And have a great trip to Berlin, Dotsie. Vorsprung durch technik. 'S German. :D

Happy Birthday for Sunday, Selkie! :D
Look, you've got it all wrong! You don't NEED to follow ME, You don't NEED to follow ANYBODY! You've got to think for your selves! You're ALL individuals!

Now in theory I should be able to. My dad was a German language teacher, our family has a number of German friends and we visited Germany most summers as kids (in our caravan). But alas, my Dad's ability with foreign languages did not rub off on me  . I can get by to ask for beer, sausage n chips and then possibly a bed for the night. But after that I'm useless
Hope you have a good time Dotsie.

Where's Christian when you need him? :D

This made me laff - a spoof headline.

Congrats! :D And thanks for the offer too, if I think of anything I absolutely have to know I'll pm you, but generally I find that German people are so nice I can limp along with my poor vocabulary and they will do their best to understand me :D We go to Germany quite a lot though, so it's time I think to make more of an effort
What's up with this glass? Excuse me? Excuse me? This is my glass? I don't think so. My glass was full! And it was a bigger glass!

Cheery - the funny thing is that for ages I thought you were from Australia.* I think it's because your written English is so good and because you don't have a location on your profile. ;)

*I have no idea why.
