We are getting slammed nu supercell storms here today. I actually managed to be right at the exact part of the city this morning that got hit worst. It was shocking. My girls got caught out in the open in it. And we have one over us right now. Trying to stay cool calm and collected. Bricks. One of these just hit my brothers town with hailstones size of baseballs. Next town got 10 centimeter hail. Thought we had dodged a bullet with tonight but this one has swung back. Arefhhh. May decamp to a matress in the hallway soon.

Why am I not surprised???
Going to my school was an education in itself. Which is not to be confused with actually getting an education (Schultz)
This was the storm I was in when I posted last on Sunday...
Seriously... you want to know how FAST these storms come in????????? Watch this.... Edit: I have to say excuse me.. we dont ALWAYS swear so much here... but yeah... we do tend to use minimal words when these storms hit.
I have added this one PURELY so you can appreciated the NOISE level when it hits.... Not a case of shooshing the kids to keep calm.. more like holding them in the hall while it hits. If you listen REALLY hard you can hear this guys wife screaming
This was Saturdays.
Another view.. High winds huh? Add 25,000 lightning strikes (they were just continuous no gap between them).
Brisbane storm season.... gotta love it. Its an adrelin junkies dream... sort of exciting unless YOU are the one losing their roof/car/windows. My fear is always that the kids get caught out in them (and they always seem to hit RIGHT on school out time).
Well... we are all alive and well. This is one of the nasties so far (and for a few years). They say its going to be a bad season.... Hopefully the rest of the season wont be SO bad.
Just keep swimming... just keep swimming.. just keep swimming....
Shame it wasnt a religious ad. I do admit I have had a little chat to an imaginary friend up in the sky I dont believe in during some of these storms. But see... I dont need to do that anymore With all the electrical items unplugged (lightning strikes) and the house in darkness NOW I can do what I did Sunday and huddle down, posting on my mobile phone to you lot!
Just keep swimming... just keep swimming.. just keep swimming....
