 I was secretly in love with Daria. I loved her cynicism and intelligence.

It was on British Tv, Dug. It was an animated series - a spin off from Bevis and Butt-head.

Daria. ;)

If I remember correctly, I used to watch it on MTV when I had cable.

Used to be too clever by half, but by virtue of consistent drinking, now only too clever by about a quarter. Banned from all BBC messageboards for being too much of an "uncceptable editorial risk".

I like David Suchet for Vetinari. He's got mystery, the tiniest bit of menace, oodles of knows-more-than-you, and buckets of give-them-enough-rope-to-hang-themselves: qualities I've always seen in Vetinari.

I can't remember where I recently saw a comment about Alan Tudyk as Carrot. But I like it!

Hi, I'm new here.
Bumping up this thread with a suggestion of Mark Addy for Sgt. Colon.
I've been watching Atlantis with Mark in and thought he could at the very least make a passable attempt at the role.

I think Sean Pertwee, John Simm or Robson Green would make good Vimeses.

Olivia Colman for Lady Sybill?

I'm down with Mark Addy as Colon - perfect.

Tom Hopper off of Merlin (he was Galahad) for Carrot. Remember, Carrot is only 16 when he's introduced - I hear a lot of names of actors in their 30s and 40s suggested for him!

Maggie Smith would be a great Granny Weatherwax, of course, or even Penelope Wilton if we're casting from the Downton Pool?

Miriam Margolyes is totally Nanny Ogg.
