Is that a British pronunciation? In the U.S., it'd have to be Mott. Although based on what he said there his name should've been Rick.... :D

He is so utterly classless and clueless. Not even a gracious loser. Can't even accept responsibility for the shortcomings of his own campaign, not to mention his glaring missteps!

Hooray from here, too, the boys were so exited (no,really, they are rather polit-interested) and said that all the kids from their class were hoping for Obama too.
Then, when the news came that he was reelected, they said they´d really like to send a "congratulations" card. Can you do that,I wonder?Where would you send it to? Would it actually arrive?
It´s still magic even if you know how it´s done.

Hi Broc! Good to see you. :) I'd send the card straight to the President at the White House.

This is from the White House website:

Write a letter to the President
Here are a few simple things you can do to make sure your message gets to the White House as quickly as possible.

1. If possible, email us! This is the fastest way to get your message to President Obama.

2. If you write a letter, please consider typing it on an 8 1/2 by 11 inch sheet of paper. If you hand-write your letter, please consider using pen and writing as neatly as possible.

3. Please include your return address on your letter as well as your envelope. If you have an email address, please consider including that as well.

4. And finally, be sure to include the full address of the White House to make sure your message gets to us as quickly and directly as possible:

The White House
1600 Pennsylvania Avenue NW
Washington, DC 20500

Yes!! Have them write! Vivian has written to President Obama and received a really nice package from the White House. There was a letter (form letter, but as far as she's concerned it's personal), an autographed picture, other pictures of the White House and Bo the dog. There were brochures and maps too. I never said anything to her about getting anything back, because I wasn't sure if it would happen, and even if it did I knew it would take a long time. Made for a great surprise when it arrived! :D
