Yeah I suggested that Bouncy. I think she was a bit too overwhelmed and scared at the time. We have had a long talk about what to do if it ever happens again.

Funny... I educated my girls VERY pointedly about staying safe, scenarios, exit plans, etc. I dont think it hits home until it actually happens.

Remember to teach them to jab their fingers into the assailants eyes if they get attacked - it is MUCH more effective and easier to pull off than kicking a guy in the nuts. It works on women too lol. I know it is a little bit gross and violent, but if it gets you out of serious danger then so be it.

There are some nasty people in this world, it's like a real-life Uberwald.

And if you want to do someone serious harm, bring the edge of your hand up - with as much force as you can muster - underneath their nose, in an upwards motion, to cause impact trauma to the nasal septum ...

Also a good one(and at the same time a terrible and sad statement about the human race in general),when a woman is in trouble,is to never yell 'Rape!' or a similar sentiment,but instead to repeatedly yell 'Fire!' as loudly as possible.
The first is more likely to turn people away sadly,while the second is somewhat guaranteed to draw them like flies to honey...
As far as weapons are concerned,never 'pack' anything that is likely be used against you to do you serious harm,so pepperspray or better teargas,maybe a yes.
Guns,knifes etc. for the average person however i'd say a definite no.

LMAO, when you said to shout "fire", I thought you meant to convince the assailant that they are about to get shot by a sniper or something. That would surely confuse them and scare them enough to run away like a little sissy haha.
