Great question Dug. I have to admit that I'm not all that sure where my kidneys are, but I think this is too high to be those. If I lay my arm straight down by my side, I would say the pain hits about mid-bicep level on my back, right side, but close to my spine. I suppose I could google it to figure out what's there, but I'm afraid I'll freak myself out.

Promise, if it's not better tomorrow I will definitely make an appointment.

Thanks for the hugs! Definitely going to the doctor today. Not any better today, although now it does sort of feel like it might be a pulled muscle. Weird. I just can't tell.

Doing better! It is a pulled muscle, that I probably made worse by babying it. After I was up and around for a bit, it started to feel a little better and I could tell where the pain was coming from. So, like you said Dug, because the pain was kind of intense, it was hard to pinpoint where it was coming from. I've been doing some stretching and a little yoga, and it has improved a lot. I can almost inhale all the way without wincing.
