Something that made me smile today was a kestrel hovering really low ready to pounce on something small and furry this afternoon. Don't see them too often.

They played My Favourite Dress second song in, which is my favourite song so I went mental down at the front & it nearly did me in I said hello to David at the t-shirt stand, he replied "Alright", so I don't think he knows we're supposed to get married (Mr Dotsie know this but he just thinks I'm a saddo)

Love those packages from the Emporium! It's been awhile.

I have bookshelves! Well, I have bookshelf pieces actually. Derek picked them up yesterday afternoon after I confessed that I was too chicken to go to Ikea by myself to get them. One is assembled and needs the shelves put in, one is in the box on the floor.

The strangest thing happened. A flock of about 20 quail (I looked them up as wasn't sure) flew straight across the field towards me this morning. They landed and scuttled under our hedge, spent some time peeping away to each other, explored the garden for a while then lifted off as one bird and flew over all the gardens to the field at the other end of the terrace. One of them appeared to have only one leg. I'm really not making this up. I've a photo on my phone

Hope the shelves give you as much fun as our new ones. We liked it so much we ordered a smaller version the same height for the other side of our fire place.
