Many years ago, we had our first dog, Sally, who was getting on a bit, and our second dog, Beccy, who was about 9 months old.
We went to a family birthday party, and the dogs stayed in the car. When it was winding down, mum got the dogs and brought them into my aunt's house.
About half an hour later, my uncle said to my aunt "Have you hoovered?".
The dogs had shot round and eaten up everything that had been dropped!

So true Joolz!Until our dog passed away, I had no idea how messy we all are.
That might have also explained why he was nearly 100lbs when he probably should have been closer to 80lbs.

My sister was business travelling a couple of weeks ago and she had the doggies with her. She was talking to a colleague in one of the branch places of her company when she noticed that the Westie had gone. They looked for him all over the place, they looked in the street .. he was nowhere to be found. There was a pet food store next door, so of course the went in there and asked whether they had seen the doggie. The pet shop guy just smiled and said: "yes, he came in some time ago, I guess he's still shopping." They found the dog happily snacking on all the dropped treats and nibbles on the floor below the shelves.
