CONGRATULATIONS Q !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Well its about-bloody-time!!!!!!!!!!!!

You do realise that you will not be able to stay "anonymous" when you are a world famous author right?

Oh PLEASE!.... have your book launch at that chocolate place at Southbank!   Well.... they will line up for anything mate! Might as well have something worth while to line up FOR!

I cant wait to read it!

So what happens? If it is accepted into the TP comp do we ALL get to read it?

I hope so.

I didn't think you were allowed pseudonyms for the TP Prize. :( Don't get me wrong, I would like a pseudonym, if only to protect my privacy. And it would certainly not be Tony's suggestion. :P

Anyway, I would be doing book signings, if possible, at Pulp Fiction. You know that place, Del?

That's just for the competition - they want you, the embryo author, not a nom de plume at that stage. Once you've won the book deal you can presumably have a pen name if you want one for when it gets published ;)

Hmm.

Anyway, I've decided to work on another book for the moment. Not the one I was trying to work on after my TP Prize entry was completed, but a different one that I have been working on long before the TP Prize came around. I need to think, though...

Meanwhile we can work on pen names you could use... how about Dr. Terry Ardis... or Ender Hobbs... or...

Ender Hobbs? WTF? :|

Anyway, I have two pseudonyms already worked out. Unfortunately, I've used one for a character in one of my books already. Well, to tell the truth, both, but I can do without one.

Hobbs End = the tube station in Quatermass and the Pit

I'm surprised you missing that reference Q

Oh, I thought that Hobbs was what it was (though I have only seen the TV version of Quatermass and the Pit rather than the movie, and it is Hobbs Lane in the TV version), but I thought that Ender was a reference to Ender's Game, which I haven't read yet, let alone professed a liking of it on the forum. Hence the confusion at the apparent combination of weird names.
