Romney seems to have the same attitude or be the same as the Tories here in the UK, all for the rich and wealthy, I'm worried he will get in and I am not American. :hand:

It certainly seems that way when they've already cut the tax rate for the wealthiest while trying to slash the welfare of the poorest. (I'm all for clamping down on benefits cheats, btw, but they also need to close the loopholes that allow for tax avoidance - something that costs the country more than the money handed out to the former). :)

Having said that, I fully agree with cutting child benefit off for people who have more than two children, whether they have jobs, or are on benefits.

If you want children, then make sure you can afford them before you pop them out.


The guy who does a lot of building maintenance at my work was telling me the other day that there's a guy who lives opposite him. Got 5 daughters.

The 17yr old said to Gerry the Builder the other day that she had a new boyfriend..... "I can't wait to get pregnant, then I can move out of this house".

THAT is no reason to bring a child into this world.
