Mine has been sent and I have also received a parcel, fortunately I spotted it said Hogswatch on the outside as so many parcels come to the shop and get opened straight away. This one is safe ready for Hogswatch

Hey, I sent my present today. I wrote on the parcel that there's a Hogswatch present inside.

Now the bad bit. It won't be much of a secret for the recipient as I had to write my name & address on the parcel & sign the customs declaration .

I didn't think about that at all.

I'm very sorry, it won't be much fun.

Don't worry about it SJ. I suspect most people will guess who has sent what. It's a bit like working out what your christmas present is before you open it - and then pretending to be surprised on christmas day.

Of course, really well behaved boardies will remove the customs declaration without reading it . . . won't they.

You can still retain a hint of a surprise by being general and not specific on the customs forms.

Write 'small gift' or 'ornament', for instance, instead of 'cat figurine', or something.

The present I received is safely stashed away. The sender's name is S.Hogfather, so I've no idea what customs made of that!
