You can see it ok because it's in you cache - the rest of us can't. I suspect it's a case of it being too big in one way or another. :)

Can't see it - unless you used a transparent square.

What size is it in bytes? That might be the problem.

Maximum dimensions; width: 120 pixels, height: 120 pixels, file size: 125.00 KiB.

Going to my school was an education in itself. Which is not to be confused with actually getting an education (Schultz)

That's what I would guess; too much memory taken up.

I'm a complete novice at Computer Jargon Thick as f--k as they say. So as you all can see i've not managed to add a picture to my profile, I've tried everything i know and that's not very much so it looks like i will have to make do with a blank photo in my profile oh well !!

Alanz... when was young and silly... (shup!) and had no idea about getting an avatar up here when I first joined.... some lovely members told me to email it to them and they resized it for me and emailed it back.

You might ask Tony or Jan (shes a whizz with this stuff) or ..... ask for a volunteer.

And no I cant see any avatar.

Volunteer? Whazzat?

You can send the pic to me if you want. It would probably be better to send it to Tony, though, since he should be able to put it into your profile, too, since he's administrator.

Unfortunately I can't do anything to people's profiles. I'm a moderator, not an administrator. However, if Alanz would like to PM me, I'll give him my email address and he can send the pic as an attachment. I'll see if I can do anything to make it acceptable to the board software. :)

Can an Administrator actually put one on for me? That would be better because when it comes down to it i am absolutly Crap at this sort of thing, honestly my grand daughter is better than me at Computering and she's 6, I've just got an I phone and she can use that better as well, But joking aside any help would be great :D
