My Novel Completion Celebration Thread...

I've just completed my novel for the Terry Pratchett Prize. 91 thousand words, taking (in this particular draft) about 6 weeks. It needs polishing, but it's complete.

Oh, let me rephrase that.

I'VE FINISHED MY NOVEL!!! F**K YEAH!

In the words? I thought the words would be in the book?

It's a novel for the Terry Pratchett Prize, so it has to be set in an alternate history, but other than that, I'm not saying. Sorry, no offence, I just have a paranoid streak wider than the Red Sea.

I hope I go well. Even if I don't win the main prize, there's always the possibility that they may publish other books of mine. It's in the T & C for the competition.
