No doubt the defence attorney will say that he was affected by internet porn, or somesuch.

With regard to JS, as a journo said in the paper this morning, the guy is dead - nothing can harm him now. However, there must be something in files which show which High-Ups agreed to give him keys to Broadmoor, Leeds General Infirmary and Stoke Mandeville, and let him have accommodations there.

It beggars belief.

And the thing is, his Wikipedia article shows things that he had been under scrutiny before:

He did not own a computer as he did not want anybody to think he was downloading child pornography. In April 2000, in the documentary by Louis Theroux, When Louis Met Jimmy Savile, Savile acknowledged "salacious tabloid people" had raised rumours about whether he was a paedophile, and stated that "I know I'm not."

In 2007, Savile was interviewed under caution by police investigating an allegation of indecent assault in the 1970s at the now-closed Duncroft Approved School for Girls near Staines, Surrey, where he was a regular visitor. The Crown Prosecution Service advised there was insufficient evidence to take any further action and no charges were brought.

In March 2008, Savile started legal proceedings against The Sun newspaper which had linked him in several articles to the child abuse scandal at the Jersey children's home Haut de la Garenne. Savile denied visiting Haut de la Garenne, but later admitted that he had done so, following the publication of a photograph showing him at the home surrounded by children. The States of Jersey Police said that in 2008 an allegation of an indecent assault by Savile at the home in the 1970s had been investigated, but there had been insufficient evidence to proceed.

In 2009, Savile publicly defended the convicted paedophile pop star Gary Glitter saying that "he just watched a few 'dodgy films' and was only vilified because he was a celebrity... It were for his own gratification. Whether it was right or wrong is up to him as a person. But they didn't do anything wrong."

I find it weird, but not so much disturbing. Each to their own, especially since she's not harming anybody (but herself, perhaps).

Perhaps it's my gaming addiction where I see lots of unusual avatars/people (currently I am a were-hamster) but I don't find it disturbing so much. I wouldn't call it particularly normal, but then is it that much different from being a goth or even a punk? Is it really much different to dressing up for those Beauty Pageants you see in the States?

Although I can see that on the back of the Jimmy Saville news that it's a bit of a sensitive issue.

In the fact that they're for a competion, this is a lifestyle choice.

And putting videos of her 15 year old daughter (or allowing the daughter to do so) dressed like a Shirley Temple doll or a Geisha doll.

What was the mother thinking? That there are no paedos out there that would get off to pictures of her daughter dressed like that?

I didn't read the article, but she really does look like a doll! And if it makes her money... There's far weirder stuff out there.
