World's Strongest Beer

........weighing in at a whopping 65 percent alcohol by volume, or 130 proof.

Sounds disgusting.

I don't think I would have touched that even during the days of my alcohol dependency.

70% alcohol is working strength disinfectant. So it's almost suitable to wipe down your work surfaces then.
What's up with this glass? Excuse me? Excuse me? This is my glass? I don't think so. My glass was full! And it was a bigger glass!

Stick your poor, sore, finger in it. That'll sort out the problem.

I would try it! :D

However, I wouldn't trust the article, since there's at least one factual error: up until now the strongest beer had 57% alcohol and came from a tiny brewery here: http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Gunzenhausen. They've been competing with the brewdog guys that are mentioned in the article for a couple of years.

Yikes. I've had the Utopias from Sam Adams before and thought it tasted pretty awful. The Stone Brewery makes a line of above average potency beers- 7.5 to 12%, that still taste like good beer.
