American Football in London.

My New England Patriots will be playing a game in London this Sunday. Is there really any interest in our relatively silly game across the pond ?

Well, given that it's the Patriots, the Brits'll have the opportunity to get back at us New Englanders for kicking their butts by cheering on whoever we're playing against. If I were a Brit, I'd go dressed as a redcoat and bring little boxes of tea and stamps to throw at 'em. Less damaging than beer bottles.

You just answered your own question. You know how many beers you can drink in the seven hours each football game lasts? Although on football Sunday, there's really little use for Viagra.

Then again, why is Cricket so popular? Like baseball, each game can last centuries and damn little action ever happens.

We don't do cricket here either . And after all the beer even viagra is useless i assume. Our national games last 70 minutes

What game are you talking about . 0-0 is pretty much impossible in Gaelic or hurling and no violence. Are you lumping us in with the English. I'm suprised at you

Its great fun . Hurling is a very fast sport to play as well .

I am English.......

I watch when I can, but due to time differences and work at 8am Mondays, its rare. Usually book Monday off to watch the Superbowl though.
I hate cricket, its the most boring sport ever...along with tennis and golf.
Gaelic football is entertaining. I watched a few matches on TV with my friends family in Derry. I shouted for the other team just to be annoying. Its better than rugby which I don't understand.

You assume incorrectly. I know someone who took a tablet for the purposes of performing whilst drunk (his wedding night), and "it" kept coming back for days. The meerest mention of anything even remotely saucy and there it was!

I was kind of surprised to discover that rugby is played in the US. The head of the massage therapy practice that Sharlene used to go to was very much into it and had team photos all over the waiting room.
