Wow. That's just about all I can say. Wow.

I confidently predict that this will be overturned :shifty:
They will probably bring out a papal bull/cow/calf, banning the predictions because of heratic accusations.

Well we do have a few clergy in this country who say our flooding a few years back was a sign of god's disapproval of gay people and promiscuity*. The logical follow on of this argument is that it's God's actions that causes these things (after all, how often do we hear the term "Act of God") and therefore it should be perfectly acceptable for them to sue the church as His representative here on Earth. ;)

* If this was really the case then Brighton should be well and truly sunk under one hundred foot of water by now.

If they are relying on that paperclip it's obvious why they messed up.

Been done. Billy Connolly in 'The Man who Sued God'. He won! :)

And will they prosecute Michael Fish now. (For those overseas from our little island nation, Michael Fish was the weatherman who, a few years back, assured us there would be no hurricane... he was WRONG!?

"top Italian physicist Luciano Maiami on Tuesday announced he was quitting as head of the risks committee." To be honest, I'd be surprised to hear that anyone would want to stay on a risks committee after this.
