Regarding Gerry Anderson's 'UFO' series. I've just tracked down and watched the first two episodes on YouTube. I'd forgotten how sexist it was. And I'm beginning to think that Anderson must have got all his funding from the tobacco industry, as everyone is smoking all the time.

Here's another Gerry Anderson one that was also one of my all time childhood favourites. :D

The difference between fiction and reality? Fiction has to make sense.

Returning it to SF-shows. :sci-fi-grayalien:

Recognising this netted me an appearance on local radio and a voucher for 25,- carwashcredit.
Loved this show,if they do do a movie,it had better be damn good! :D

Aw, Mycroft, I wanted to do Blake's 7.... :(

An American company is doing a remake, Mycroft. If we're extremely lucky, it'll remain true enough to the original...

Anyway, it's inevitable, but I've come to the Doctor Who titles...almost all of them.

Oh, and the latest, or at least the first version of the latest one.

Oh, and Sister Jennifer: Love Journey of the Sorcerer!!! :D

Meh, I prefer Journey of the Sorcerer. :|

Actually, Terry Pratchett's Discworld was animated by Cosgrove Hall, who also had their hand in other Doctor Who projects, including an online story called Scream of the Shalka. Here's the title sequence, albeit just before a few minutes of story.

Yami: Wanna play a game?
Ushio: What sort of game-
Yami: First one to die loses!
Ushio: ...
Yami: Look! the Queen of Spades!
Ushio: What does that do-
Yami: You lose!
Ushio: *falls* UAHHHHHHHHH!

:o There's no hope for you then ;)

^ That's dreadful whatever that is. Is that Richard E Grant doing the voice of the Dr??

With the possible exception of the 80's Dr, I like all those versions. The latest one is V. good.

The alien or the animation? Keep in mind that it was designed for streaming over a website. Similar animation was used for an animated David Tennant story, The Infinite Quest, and the animated versions of missing episodes 1 and 4 of The Invasion.

Yes, that's Richard E Grant playing the Doctor. This series was commissioned for the BBC website when it seemed unlikely that any new episodes would get made. Unfortunately, shortly before showing Scream of the Shalka, it was announced that the new series would be made.

Scream of the Shalka can be found here: http://www.bbc.co.uk/doctorwho/classic/webcasts/shalka/

There's also an audio remake of the never-completed story Shada, by Douglas Adams. Here it is: http://www.bbc.co.uk/doctorwho/classic/webcasts/shada/
