At last, there is one near me that I can go to! :D

And do please bring a crowd! In the last two years we've done sell-out productions of Fawlty Towers, The Crucible, and Blackadder. On past showing, Discworld won't match them, but I'd like at least to give them a run for their money.

I'll post again with more details of the actual performances, including where you can buy tickets, nearer the time.

And thank you for your interest.

I hope it goes well. Have you written to Jason at Discworld Monthly about getting it advertised there? :)

Good to see you again by the way!

No, I haven't, but I shall look Discworld Monthly up and do so. Thank you for that thought. I did try to register with all manner of other Discworld fora yesterday, but most of them appear to be dead but still standing, and not taking new members (bit like Reg Shoe!). Thank goodness for this one!

And thank you, it's good to see the familiar names on here again.

If you wish (and assuming I can actually make it there), I can bring my camera along and take a few pics of the production for you and the cast (unobtrusively and without flash but I might need to set up my tripod at the rear of the hall). :D

Thank you for the offer, but I usually take my own during the dress rehearsals. I use a monopod and 50-500 mm zoom, so I don't have to change lenses.

That's good. I hope you enjoy it. The last tme I directed a Discworld play, it won an award, but I wasn't convinced it deserved it!
