Oh, how very true.

Knowledge and choice is the enemy of any fundamentalist, Islamic, Christian, anyone like that.

I'll thank you to take "Christian" out of that list.

I know you got confused over my choice of words (I should have put "whether they be" after "fundamentalist"), but I have two words for you: Fred Phelps.

Yeah, crazy comes in all flavors. No point in pretending it doesn't or that one flavor of crazy is better than the other.

Sister J, love that! So very, very true. Any religious nut's greatest fear is someone picking up a book other than the one they endorse.

Q, that's awesome!!

(OK, OK, so I found this on Perez Hilton!!)

A London shopping mall, and a very well financed one at that, will pay Rihanna $8 mil to… flip a switch and turn on some Christmas lights!?

Whoa, what a job!! Where do we submit our resumes for next year?!

A source with insider knowledge of Westfield mall in East London said:

"Rihanna's thrilled. She knows it's a big deal and is totally up for it - if it fits in with her schedule. Westfield have had a great year due to the Olympics and want to fork out to celebrate. Even though the final contract is still being thrashed out, they're prepared to pay up to £5 million for her. They are expecting around 20,000 people to swamp the park."

Good for you, girl! You should be thrilled!

A nine-year-old girl dressed in a Halloween costume has been accidentally shot by a relative who thought she was a skunk.

The child, who was wearing a black costume and a black hat with a white tassel, was shot outside a house in New Sewickley Township, western Pennsylvania, where a Halloween party was taking place.

Police said the girl was "over a hillside" when a male relative mistook her for a skunk and fired at her with a shotgun, hitting her in the shoulder.

The girl was said to be "alert and talking" when she was flown to a hospital in Pittsburgh, 30 miles away, where she underwent surgery. Her condition is not known.

Authorities said no arrests have been made and the case remains under investigation.

I heard about it. And facepalmed.

Anyway, this'd be pathetic if it weren't for the man's desperation. As is, it is kinda sad. Both sad as in a pathetic attempt to defraud Campbell's, and sad in that he was driven to this state.
