Yeah, I keep calling it either Fiat Picanto, because I drove a Fiat before and Kia and Fiat don't sound that different (kinda embarrassing when you talk to the people at the Kia garage and tell them you'd like to buy the Fiat you saw earlier that day) or I call it Pia, getting confused because the model's name starts with a p. :D

No, normally I don't give names to my cars, so I won't do so with this.

Trying not to feel really irritated. I'm having a hard time successfully communicating with the staff at the middle school. I know things are busy there and I've been really patient so far. But we're getting to a stage where some decisions and changes need to be made and communicating through email just isn't cutting it. I spend a lot of time trying to compose my messages so that they're brief, but ask and answer all the necessary questions. Then I get emails back without answers and asking questions that I've already answered, or asked for more information so that I can answer them. :x I know there are a lot of students there. I know things are busy. But obviously email isn't the best way to communicate about a couple of things. I have so much to get done today and I've put it all on hold in the hopes of being able to just pop in for a short time to get things straightened out. I've left a voice mail and if I don't hear back from them soon, I have to decide whether to go out and accomplish stuff or sit here and wait.

Maybe making a fixed appointment to see someone would be better. That way at least you can plan your time and make it a bit more formal than just popping in.

Good luck!

We are definitely planning a more formal meeting later this month. I did manage to get her on the phone and I'll get to steal about 15 minutes from her this afternoon, which should be plenty for the current, smaller issues. We have not reached handbag level yet, but I'm not ruling it out. Consider the handbag in reserve.

Relaxed. Been for a back massage and feel all bendy.

I feel confused :?. If you reply to a PM does the message sit in the Outbox for a bit before it sends? The thing says 'sent' but has it if it's still there?

Please forgive my lamentable ignorance.
