A bit awkward. OH and I bought the new car today. It's a Kia Picanto (http://www.kia.co.uk/new-cars/range/com ... canto.aspx if you're interested). As cars go it's quite cheap, but I've never spent so much money; I say I, most of the money is from my girlfriend - still awkward. Spending such an amount of money (10500€) always makes one think that what one got in the end was perhaps not the optimum.
We'll see. I liked test driving it, so did the other half.It's not very thirsty (4,1 l/100km; real fuel consumption will of course be higher but I think I can keep it below 5l), so it'll safe some money in the future. 7 years warranty are not to be sneezed at, either. It's just a lot of money. :|

Congrats! Buying a car always feels like that (to me anyway). But if you need it, you need it. And you joint own it, ooh the commitment!
