As I said in my post: "Yes, people will argue that it's just a film and not to be taken seriously, but if you are making a film about real people and their part in history, then one would think that they'd at least base it on a real history."
If I read a book of historic fiction (and I do, a lot) then I expect the historical bits to be as accurateas possible. I don't dismiss glaring inaccuracies as: 'it's just a book'.
It's something that bothers me and I'm not going to just dismiss it.
