Somewhat of topic here, but related. With the apparent increase of S&M, bondage and sex slavery that this book deals with (as I understand it), it seems that courts are now having to consider where you draw the line between assault and consensual sex games.
This case in Missouri is an example where an abuser is claiming that the abuse was consensual.
It's certainly an interesting question if people are going to practice such things. When does it cease to be fun and turn into abuse? And if a partner says "stop", what happens if the other person doesn't?
