Hello all the nice people who wrote back to me...

I was kind of expecting some sort of notification or email when people talked to me?

So I was rather nicely surprised, when I came on here feeling entirely unloved by my fellow Pratchett fans, to find lots of lovely replies [=

Somebody was talking about licks...slightly disturbing, although I am sure it was meant in a nice kind of way xD

Somebody else mentioned pinning on a map? I think? And some sort of sweets?

If anyone could clarify these things I would be most grateful =D also, talk to me more!

I'm quite clearly new to any sort of forum and haven't worked out how to reply to individual things yet =p

If you want to reply to a specific post, you can use the "quote" at the top right of the person post.

As for being "pinned" on the map,
You can do that here:
viewtopic.php?f=1&t=319&start=1155

This thread is usually within the top 2nd or 3rd post under this (General Discussion) thread.

As for notifications,
I think you can set something in your "User Control Panel" for some notifications, but I don't know id you can set it so that you get a notifications when someone adds to a thread? :?

You lost me on the "licks" though. :?
I'll leave that to one of the experts: Del can you help out??

There's also a "Subscribe topic" on the bottom of each page, although in that case you get a notification if there's any new post on the whole topic, not only when someone's replying to you...
