Spidey, I'm using aramotherapy oils. Mr WW tried Deep Heat once and had to have a cold bath because it was burning so much.
It's a bit better this morning anyway.

I find Ibuleve spray to be an excellent alternative to Deep Heat since it is both odourless and burn free. However, since it contains Ibuprofen you have to be a bit careful if you're taking other medications.

Be careful with deep tissue massage. I had one ONCE and ended up in hospital FROM the deep tissue massage and had to have physio for months after.

Was painful but effective.

My commiserations to everyone who is suffering today. I'm am having a mixed day, I have been to a funeral then received a delivery of xmas goodies and a gift of home grown raspberries. Might have raspberries and ice cream for tea. Yummy.

Dotsie... when you become a parent you say goodbye to sanity hun. Its the very quiet very calm parents that always freak me out the most. I watch them carefully to see how many valium they are slipping during the visit.... and if its to themselves or their kids. Some resort to drinking lots of "fluids".

SW: SO glad you are one the mend though it seems to be taking forever huh... and just when it was all going so well. The bruising must be deep for it to take this long to clear up (or some of your meds might be hindering recovery) Hope its all over soon. Drink lots of fluids.
