Sorry to hear that spidey.

After the last three weeks full of work I really enjoy a half Sunday off. Gotta teach some Greek to a girl later this day, but that's more of a hobby and I get paid, too, so it doesn't really count. :D

Hope the germs leave your house soon Spidey.

And I hope the knee feels better SW.

I'm aching today. Karen and I had a massive 'getting the hedges/trees trimmed for winter' session yesterday. Trouble is, the hedge trimmer has given up the ghost, so it was all done by hand with shears. Neither of us could move our arms yesterday evening. Mind you that was a good excuse to get a takeaway curry. Neither of us could stir the pan to made our own

Cheers guys :)

He hasn't slept well and me neither for that matter. Its so unlike him to get poorly/bed ridden, he normally gets a cold once a year and it doesn't stop him from doing anything at all. I'm beginning to wonder if its linked to his op year before last. Some of you may remember he suffered from Achalasia, a disorder of the tube that carries food from the mouth to the stomach (esophagus), it affects the ability of the esophagus to move food/water toward the stomach. He had it for about 4 years until he had an op (esophagogastroduodenoscopy - trying saying that fast!) to permanently widen the esophagus at the location of the narrowing (had to look all that med jargon up  )

I wonder if that because its always open now its letting more nasty things in than it would do otherwise. Or I'm adding 2+2 and getting 5. :shifty:

@chillicamper - That's the best kind of tired there is isn't it, job done well, lots of satisfaction and finished off with a well earned take away :D

What's up with this glass? Excuse me? Excuse me? This is my glass? I don't think so. My glass was full! And it was a bigger glass!

Del, Chilli, great stories! For the record, I would never have the courage to get on one of those huge water slides. Thankfully Derek does those slides, and the rollercoasters with Thing 1. Thing 2 and I swim in the wave pool and do the calmer rides. :D

Chilli, sorry about your sore muscles. Yard work can really take it's toll!

Sharlene, so glad you're doing better after your fall. :D Hope the knee improves too.

Spidey, glad you're feeling better. Hope the OH is better soon! Hard to say if it's related to the operation, but those kinds of things do make you wonder. There really just seems to be a lot more nasty stuff going around these last couple years. Could just be that.

Good luck Dotsie! You and Mr. Dotsie will do fine. :D

Just don't scare them with tales of how useful a handbag can be, and a promise that you will teach any youngster the art of handbagging!

Good luck dotsie.

I've been gardening, and expected a stiff back. What I didn't expect was aching muscles in my bum and thighs. It hurts to sit down.
