The Granny Weatherwax Facts

Postby engineeringsimon » Mon Sep 17, 2012 11:46 pm

I was pondering the deep wisdom of the Chuck Norris Facts and thought that Chuck Norris would be reduced to a whimpering mess when confronted with Granny Weatherwax.

I propose that the members of this forum contribute some appropriate facts about Granny Weatherwax.

I'll start the ball rolling with:

"You don't look at Granny Weatherwax, she allows light to reflect in your general direction..."

and

"Death once had a near-Granny Weatherwax experience"

Love that one!
Some are born great, some achieve greatness and some have greatness thrust upon them.

The rest of us are a bit crap.

It's all about headology. Beat old Chuck hands down and he was trained by Bruce Lee.
No. I don't imagine anyone west of Bree would have much interest in "adventures."

Granny Weatherwax doesn't fly from place to place- A'Tuin moves the Disc under her.

I bet Granny would knock down the whole bunch of expendables with just one good stare, and no effort at all
(let's not talk of what she would think of the name  like 'one who expects oneself to win shouldn't used such a name, and if one does, one should expect to be treated as one, that's basic common sense, that is' )
They wouldn't stand a chance, is all I'm saying :D

I like the idea of interchanging Chuck Norris jokes with Granny Weatherwax. Heres some of my favourites:

- Ghosts sit around the campfire and tell Granny Weatherwax stories.

- There used to be a street named after Granny Weatherwax, but it was changed because nobody crosses Granny Weatherwax and lives.

- Granny Weatherwax died 20 years ago, Death just hasn't built up the courage to tell her yet.

- Death once had a near-Granny Weatherwax experience.

- Granny Weatherwax doesn't read books. She stares them down until she gets the information she wants.

I like this one,"‘The thing about witchcraft,’ said Mistress Weatherwax, ‘is that it’s not like school at all. First you get the test, and then afterwards you spend years findin’ out how you passed it. It’s a bit like life in that respect.’ Classic  :D
