Somewhat of topic here, but related. With the apparent increase of S&M, bondage and sex slavery that this book deals with (as I understand it), it seems that courts are now having to consider where you draw the line between assault and consensual sex games.

This case in Missouri is an example where an abuser is claiming that the abuse was consensual.

It's certainly an interesting question if people are going to practice such things. When does it cease to be fun and turn into abuse? And if a partner says "stop", what happens if the other person doesn't? :?

As I understand it, there's a "safe word" agreed between the parties before the, erm, event, commences.

Say the safe word, and the other party should stop.

From the Comments section of that article:

The young woman went to a hospital in 2009 with bad injuries. She was 23 then, so this began in 2002 when she was FIFTEEN OR SIXTEEN! Still think this is a simple privacy matter?

I take back my previous post.

50 Sheds of Grey from Twitter has made himself a bundle, I suspect!

His postings have been published over here, and are soon to be published Stateside.

I'm currently reading this book and I have to say, it's very, very, very bad.

This is the most recent Tweet from 50 Sheds on Twitter.

Fifty Sheds of Grey ‏@50ShedsofGrey

I found her lying naked on the shed floor, covered in rose petals. 'What do you think?' she purred. 'Not sure,' I said, 'Could be greenfly.'

Fifty Sheds of Grey ‏

I opened the shed door to find her lying naked on my workbench covered in brightly-coloured lumps of putty. She was a play-doh masochist.

He's really funny.

His "book" on Amazon is a Twitter wonder!! Not checked it out, but presume it is a Kindle type book, and not paper?

What's up with this glass? Excuse me? Excuse me? This is my glass? I don't think so. My glass was full! And it was a bigger glass!
