Theme for The Great A'Tuin - Music

Hi Everyone,

I've written a little theme for The Great A'Tuin paddling through space.

It is quite a departure from other music I've written, using all kinds of effects and stuff. Just to see what happens. I'll be interested to see what people think.

Squee! Love it! Especially the flute theme at the end... it's really...spacial reminds me of Irish folk songs, beautiful!

There's even a cello part! But I had to look at the sheet music to find that one out, because I didn't recognize the sound because of the effects...

Thanks. I've never done anything sort of "electronic" before. But The Great A'Tuin swimming through space was the most electronic idea I had...

Also, the "Cello" part isn't really a Cello. It's a tin whistle shifted down a couple of octaves and with a phaser effect added among other things. In fact all 4 parts are the tin whistle.

The only reason cello is on the sheet music is that I like the sound of a cello and the pitch range seemed right. Also, Noteflight doesn't have freaked out electronic noise as an instrument.

That's probably because I made up the tune on a tin whistle mucking around after practising a bunch of Irish, Scottish, and English folk tunes on my Tin Whistle....
