I think he was starting secondary school so the poor kid is up to his eyeballs.

He's 14, he should have started 2 years ago.

Perhaps it's exams.

It's only been a month.

People come and go. Some people lurk. Others find other sites that interest them and some bugger off because off for other reasons.

There are all sorts of reasons people disappear from message boards. I have had some (I thought) quite close friends who stopped posting and were never heard from again.

It's usually nothing sinister, although I did send an email to a friend in Karachi once after the earthquakes in Islamabad. I didn't think he'd be in trouble as they were a long way from each other. I was most shocked when I got a reply from his wife telling me that he was attending a seminar in Islamabad when the earthquake hit and that she hadn't heard anything from him. It was a scary time, but he was ok, just unable to contact anyone.

I think you sort of get a different mindset about Internet friends after a while as some friendships can be somewhat transitory.

He's drifted in and out before as well. And sorry bouncy . I forgot his age Although 13 is not that uncommon here for startin secondary

Don't worry I'm back now,I went to visit my cousins during the summer and I had no access to the internet and then school started so I was busy and as Tony said exams.we get tests once a week in every subject but I'm back now.it's nice to think that people missed me
