Adorah Belle Dearheart would have something in common with Daria Morgendorffer from the cartoon series. This would be the inscrutable deadpan voice and a facial expression that only alters in small, subtle, ways. In an animated version featuring ABD, I would reccomend Tracy Grandstaff (very versatile voice artiste, who voiced Daria). Her American accent might be put down to an upbringing in a different part of the Disc- this fits the "wide-open skies"frontier mentality of the Clacksmen (who in a different world took the telegraph coast-to-coast in the USA.)
Used to be too clever by half, but by virtue of consistent drinking, now only too clever by about a quarter. Banned from all BBC messageboards for being too much of an "uncceptable editorial risk".
