In South Africa they have Kudu dung spitting (Bokdrol Spoeg) contests. Basically putting a dung pellet in your mouth and seeing who could spit it the furthest, the winner being decided by where the dung comes to rest, not where it first landed. It is important to remember not to inhale or swallow before spitting! (I didn't win, btw.)

I must admit I've never heard of it. Not that I'd want to play.
So we don't all play that,don't avoid SA.

It was something that happened in the bush camps after copious amounts of beer had been consumed and wasn't actually as bad as it sounds. (If you ever get the chance, make sure you visit SA. It's a great country with fantastic people, stunning wildlife, and unspoilt scenery. An outdoor potjie is something not to be missed.
