Believe me, Selkie has lots of space. She also had a really beautiful German shepherd there before who sadly died a few years ago.

If he is anything like his dad, he will be ginormous but like Tony said, we have acres of space (literally) so that shouldn't be a problem. The kitties on the other hand... they will be living in interesting times once he arrives, but I suspect Tiggy, at least, will show him who is boss.

Selkie he's adorable!! I don't even know how to type the sound I made when I saw his picture. I would love to see pictures of him as he grows. I LOVE big dogs! Would love to get another one, but right now I'm content with borrowing the Husky from next door. Unfortunately we can't let him in the house though. He might eat the cat.

Czara has that same look my Bacchus used to have after we shaved him

Not strictly my pet yet but we went to visit puppies on Saturday and got a cute pic of ours. He is still nameless.

Entry on my adult daughters Facebook last week went something like this.....

Truly: Exhausted! Have spent all morning shaving my pussy! The hair is so matted!
T's Girlfriend: You should brush it everyday and it wouldnt happen.
Truly: Yes I know... but it IS winter and the hair is soooo long.
Declan (her boyfriend): It took two of us to hold her down while we did it!
Pete (her flatmate): She kept squirming and wiggling out of our hands!
T's Guy Friend: Hey guys if you need ANY help at all.... I'm there.
Truly: Okay! An hour later and one shaved pussy! Looks cute.
Mum: Finally! Please post pics at the easiest.

Yes she had had to shave Czara her cat. She is a Russian and had a VERY long winter coat. So they very very carefully shaved her body and left some fur on her paws and on her head.... I still am begging for a pic of her "naked"

Now since Czara is an inside cat its not too much of a problem and the day temps for spring here are in the mid 20's C.... but the nights are still just a tad cool so Czara needs some warmth at night..... so what do you do??? You buy her a winter coat of course! Apparently Czara loves it.

What a neat invention! I'm always puzzled by people who take the trouble to put their dog's poop in a bag, but then just leave the poop-filled bag on the floor. It makes no sense to me. Selkie, if he gets anything like the size of your other dog, there's no way the poop-filled bag will fit inside that little compartment.

Ohhhhhhhhhhhhh SWISH! Love the Leashpod. They are brilliant. Hayden has one for Tobi her dog at her dads.. but not so fancy.

BEST tip before you name a dog..... go to the backdoor and yell it out at the top of your voice at least ten times.... good tip for parents about to name a child too I might add.

Oh boy, Mr Selkie's eyes lit up when I showed him the pooper scooper - now he wants to make one himself.

Mr Selke has already rejected several name suggestions based on that very tip. At this rate he is gonna be stuck with "Puppy" for life.
