She was 26, but I look old for my age(28) and she takes good care of herself.
We were mistaken for a couple more than once on the trip.

The whole week was a wonderful time, lots of fun touristy stuff.
I also got to attend the reading of Dodger in Ely, had dinner with Sir Terry and Rob, and then got invited to the launch party.
All in the space of 3 days at the end of my trip, it was quite overwhelming, and wonderful.

Sadly the reading and dinner were both in places where no pictures were allowed, but I got to snap a few at the party so things worked out.
Rob and Terry were both very kind and funny, and even my mom had a wonderful time despite her having only read one of his books because I invited her along.
She was quite worried that she would just be an awkward hanger on, but they made her feel quite welcome.
Oh, and she's about 1/3 of the way through Dodger now
